Or the beauty of innuendoes,

Or just after.” –Wallace Stevens

The last gig of our tour was at Johnny B’s in Medford, Oregon. I LOVED the retro punk vibe of the place. After we had packed up our gear and the crowd had left, I pulled out my G11 and grabbed some shots.

Here’s another rest stop view from the last leg of our ten day, nine gig, 2500 mile band tour–this time along Hwy 505, north of Vacaville, CA. Because we were racing home, the only opportunities I had to shoot were during quick rest or fuel stops. I would have loved to have had more time because the passing storm produced amazingly dynamic cloud formations all the way from the Oregon/California border to the San Francisco Bay Area.

The band just finished a ten day tour traveling from the San Francisco Bay Area to Port Townsend, WA and back playing a different venue every night. This photo was taken near the California/Oregon border on I5 during the last leg of our journey. I chose it because it represents a fleeting view of the weather we experienced throughout the tour–including 9 inches of snow in Eugene, OR on the first day of spring. Weird, and amazing! Inclement weather be damned–we had a blast. More photos to come.
