I stopped at the vista point at the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge today on my way home. Here’s the sequence of events.

Walked onto the bridge and got a pedestrian shot.

Took advantage of the bridge vantage and got a cityscape (cropped to) panorama. (Click on the pano shot for a larger view.)

Headed back to the tourist stop and shot some tourists being tourists.

And finally, took a portrait view of the bridge and its shadow.

Lens: Canon EF-S 15-85mm–and a lot of f/11.
