I’ve got a Canon 5D Mark III w/EF 24-105mm in the house so I’m busy updating my game–aka, installing new and updating old software. Coming from a Rebel T2i and a G11 all I’ve got to say is, “WOW!” This is my messy desk with very low key source lighting straight from the camera (except for resizing and a touch of sharpening).
Lens: Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L at 28mm. 1/250 second at f/5.0, ISO 2500!!

Tomorrow, the band is heading out for a 10 day tour of the Pacific Northwest. I’ll have cameras in tow and will post when I can.

I’m off work this week and have settled into a lazy mode of watching movies, noodling on guitar, and avoiding getting in a car. It’s a good thing to slow down and rest now and again! So… photo posts here will be spotty until the new year–unless, of course, something catches my eye and I happen to have a camera in hand.
