I was able to get out and about some with my new 5D Mark III over the past couple of days. I did a lot of experimenting because I realized after my first outing that I had a learning curve to tackle. This full body portrait of Maggie, however, was a no-brainer.

And, because today is the 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge, here’s a shot I took with the 5DM3 last week from the top of the Marin Headlands. I’m in transition right now (all good!) so my posting will be spotty for a short while. In the interim, to fill in for the days I don’t get to shoot, I may post the occasional commute photo (which I’m transitioning from), or I may go to the archives and pull something out for fun. This one is of band mates, friends and the chartreuse cap at the waterfront in Seattle during The Mad Maggies “Big Ass Van” tour in March.
