Here’s a shot taken at our booth at the Cotati Accordion Festival this past weekend–Renée and Sean doing business, each in their own way. I REALLY like the “overexposed” look of this shot! I can see more of this style coming.

This past weekend our band played at the Cotati Accordion Festival. Our set was on Saturday, but Maggie and I were there all day, both days, selling merch and hanging with friends and fans. When I wasn’t at the booth working, eating or enjoying a cold beer or two ;-), I was out and about with my camera. My first offering is a portrait of our fiddler friend Scott working a button box.

It’s a busy weekend with the band so I’m not finding time for new shots–but, hey, they’re all new if no one has seen them. Last week I posted some photos I took while out on a drive through the local countryside. Here’s another image from the same shoot–in fact, this is the field that’s only partially in view in my “Old County Road” post.

This local tattoo shop caught my eye while taking an alleyway shortcut back to my car. FTR, I don’t have any tattoos, nor do I plan on getting one any time soon, but I appreciate the art form.

Sitting at a café twiddling my thumbs? No way. The beer was good and the conversation scintillating, but I liked the colors in the reflection on the table so I posed my shades and grabbed a few close-ups. This was the fave.
