Number four in the “straight on” series, the Miele appliance store on Petaluma boulevard. The storefront has very “mid-century modern” appearance which sets it apart from the other establishments in the immediate area. And Miele vacuums are the bomb.

I’ve been going out for long walks lately. One might think I was walking solely because I got a new camera. Nope. I’ve been a runner for 35 years and have, unfortunately, over the past year developed a nagging achilles heel injury. Walking doesn’t seem to irritate the heel, so I’m getting out and about around town on foot several times a week. Buying the small, lightweight EOS M was the motivational part of my therapy. So far so good. This image, taken yesterday afternoon, is the third in a growing series of straight on shots.

The second in the “straight on” series with the new Canon EOS M. I took this shot yesterday while walking to a local cafe. I spotted the old camper the day before but there were people inside who looked at me like they didn’t want their picture taken. This time no one was home.

I recently bought a Canon EOS M with 22mm EF-M f/2 STM lens. It’s a cool little mirrorless system that weighs in like a point and shoot, but is much more versatile. The day after I got it I took a photo walk around town. On my way home, I spotted this house.
