After loading up our gear after a band gig at the Rancho Nicasio Bar & Resaurant in West Marin this past weekend, I walked around a bit a grabbed a few shots of the surrounding area during the twilight hour.

I took this shot while stopped at a turnout on our way home from a gig on Sunday night–and “night” is the operative word. The 5D Mark III is amazing in low light situations.

After a gig in Berkeley, I happened upon this unfortunate guy and his friends. What to do?? I took a picture. (I’m sure he survived.) The image is straight from the camera at ISO 6400–no processing of the RAW file other than resizing and a tad of sharpening.
