Here’s a recent shot taken down by the waterfront not far from my house. I tweaked it to taste.

I don’t often take photos of houses, but occasionally I’ll get a wild hair and go for a walk in a residential area with a camera. This lovely house, just a block outside of downtown Petaluma, was designed by famous California architect, Julia Morgan.

Here’s an abstract image of one of the grain factories in town. I cropped the original shot to a 4:3 aspect ratio and desaturated the color about 70%. Why not?

After watching the 4th of July fireworks down by the river in Petaluma, I grabbed this shot while walking home. Yes, I shot the fireworks, but this one was just more… interesting.

We walked from the homestead to downtown last night to see a movie. After the movie we headed over to the theater district square for a beer. While there I took a couple of shots of the fountain of faces that is the centerpiece of the square. There must be over a hundred different ceramic faces in this three tiered fountain mosaic.
