I get up at 3:30 AM every work day. I’m on the road at 4:00 for my 65 mile drive. Yes, it’s surreal. My only stops are either for gas or to get some cash at an ATM. My ATM stop is on Taraval Ave. just off 19th. This is what it looks like at 4:50 AM:
Canon G11 in the wee hours.
I’m a sucker for off-hours photography & adventuring. A few years ago I was on a kick to only go grocery shopping at 1am. The store was desolate except for a few drunkards hunting for sustenance.
I’m glad to see the G11 handle the red lights so well. It seems anytime a digital camera sees a red street light or brake lights, it kicks up the luminosity to a freakish level.
Kudos on capturing the overhead lines as well.
