Today was another rainy day in the Bay Area so there was no stopping during the commute home. Here is another image from yesterday’s Bayfront Park stop. It was taken about 50 feet away facing in the exact opposite direction from where I took the previous post’s image.

Yesterday’s rain wasn’t the end of the early rains in the Bay Area. A new, bigger storm started rolling in late this afternoon. I could see that it was already raining to the north where I was headed so I stopped at Bayfront Park to grab some “dry” shots. I run in this park several days a week because it is conveniently located right across the road from where I work. Nice!

It was a rainy commute home today. The beginning of October is a bit early, but the rain is nice because it’s been very dry for many months. I didn’t stop along the way because a wet freeway invariably makes for bad traffic–and today was no exception. Instead, I went to the well for this image. It was taken during the same commute stop that I got the wispy fog shot of the Golden Gate Bridge.

I’ve been posting less for the past couple of weeks because of a heavy gigging schedule with the band. To emphasize the fact that I’ve been out and about playing music, here’s a shot I took a week ago after our last set of the first day at the Czech Fest in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
