We had the first big snow of the season here in Montréal this past weekend, and I took a walk in my neighborhood park while it was coming down heavy.

This afternoon, on the street where I live in Montréal, the fall glow was incredible.

I have been thinking about creating a new photography blog for some time. This update is not it. What I did here was switch from my much altered, out-of-the-box, WordPress “Twenty Ten” theme to “Twenty Fourteen”. The process was an exercise, and a refresher course, in tweaking themes efficiently.

We rode the Tadoussac ferry back and forth quite a few times during our stay. This day we were on the Tadoussac side (the other side is Baie-Ste-Catherine), walking the short Sentier de la Pointe-de-l’Islet trail. These are the ferry boats. Nice!
