Today’s post–just another quick, work-a-day commute stop along Hwy 101. I couldn’t decided which of these two shots I liked the best.
The images were processed slightly differently, but shot at exactly the same camera settings.

There’s been little visual incentive for me to stop along my commute route over the past couple of weeks so I’ve taken to abstraction for my photo kicks. This is a Hipstamaticized section of exterior wall at my workplace.

While filling up the car at a local gas station I snapped this image with my iPhone. A “normal” photo of this view would have been very mundane–Hipstamatic to the rescue.

It’s early January and warm in Northern California. It was 69 degrees fahrenheit in the shade on the patio at 3:00 PM this afternoon. Weird! This is a “Nifty Fifty” bokeh shot of my clothes drying on the clothes line.

I took this shot almost exactly a year ago and posted it with two others of the same hillside as a series in black and white. This one I always liked the best so a while back I decided to re-post it as a color image. While reprocessing the image I realized the cloudless, blue sky needed embellishment (probably why I chose black and white before) so I composited in a patch of sky from a different photo.
