I grabbed this shot while out on a neighborhood walk today. For fun, I tweaked it mercilessly in post.

I’m in transition right now (all good!) so my posting will be spotty for a short while. In the interim, to fill in for the days I don’t get to shoot, I may post the occasional commute photo (which I’m transitioning from), or I may go to the archives and pull something out for fun. This one is of band mates, friends and the chartreuse cap at the waterfront in Seattle during The Mad Maggies “Big Ass Van” tour in March.

I spent a little time today doing some Lightroom cataloging of my images. I ran across this one from our 10,000 mile journey back in 2010. We LOVED Quebec City so we spent a lot of time walking the streets–and I took a lot of photos. Blue doors were not uncommon in the old part of the city. I’m not sure why the blue, but they looked cool.

Here’s a quirky city abstract.
While processing the image I couldn’t decide on color or black and white.
