Here’s another shot from yesterday’s commute stop. It was 3:45 PM on a Thursday and I was there all by my lonesome.

Pride of Madeira and Monkey Flower are in full bloom on the edges of the San Francisco Bay. I took this “intimate” shot at Fort Baker on a brief stop today during my commute home.
Lens: Canon EF-S 15-85mm at 78mm. 1/60 second at f/5.6, ISO 100.

I’ve worked across the road from Bayfront Park in Menlo Park for nearly 13 years. I run the trails there 3 or 4 days a week and, because it’s a convenient stop during my commute home, have photographed it in all kinds of weather. Looking northeast from the park’s entrance, this was this afternoon’s view of Flood Slough.

While I’m waiting for a kick in the ass to get myself back out shooting, here’s a couple more images from my son’s wedding–this time of my son and his lovely bride.
Lens: Canon EF 28mm f/1.8 USM. Both shots handheld, 1/15 second at f/3.2, ISO 400.
